[Maison and Therese]

Maison Therese was founded in 1965, over forty years ago by Therese Mooren. Therese was born in Holland and immigrated to New Zealand over 50 years ago. She started producing in her kitchen at home, that is how the name ‘Maison Therese’ was derived, ‘Maison’ meaning ‘the house’. Maison Therese produced its first jar of pickled onions and gherkins in 1965 and has been preserving favourite New Zealand flavours ever since. Gradually they expanded to include other products and target other markets, all made to Maison Therese’s recipes. The company is still owned and run by Therese’s daughter Monique Bradshaw and granddaughter Emma Bradshaw.

When trying to find the best New Zealand products for Venn it is hard to go past experience and rich history which is a sure sign of quality and passion. Once you open the Maison and Therese relish you will know what we mean.
